Synergy Hair & Beauty’s Maxine and Aimee fly to New Orleans for the BTC COLOUR Show 2014

Synergy Owner Maxine and Stylist Aimee have recently returned from New Orleans, USA, where they went to see the world’s biggest hair colour show – BTC COLOR 2014. The 3-day educational and inspirational event offers 2 days of COLOR education, and 1 day of Cut & Style education – showcasing the hottest hair colour techniques in the world today.

They met a multitude of prestigious celebrity hair colorists including Kim Vo (named ‘Hollywood’s best blonder’ by Vogue), Redken Creative Ambassador Tracey Cunningham (hairdresser to the stars such as Jennifer Lopez ,the Kardashians and Cameron Diaz to name but a few) and Guy Tang – known in the industry as ‘the king of bayalage’.

Maxine says;

“It was an amazing experience being in America, having all the artists under one roof at the same time. It was so inspirational! We can’t wait to share what we have learnt with the rest of the team, and get creating some amazing hair colours on our clients”

Maxine’s passion for hair colour doesn’t stop there, however. Next year, Synergy’s owner plans on doing a prestigious Redken MCA in colour – which is the highest qualification in hair colour you can get.

Maxine continues;

“Next year, we are also celebrating 21 years in the business, which is incredible! I still love my job today as much as I did back when I started. Hairdressing is fashion forward and always changing so there is always something new to learn…it never stops.”
